Joplin, Missouri Update
Several of you have contacted the church looking for ways to give, lend a hand, or even pray for the people of Joplin, Missouri. As you know Joplin was hit with a terrible tornado Sunday May 22nd.
Clark Fork City Church has relationship with a church in Joplin, Christ’s Church of Joplin. No one is missing, or injured from the church but they are leading the charge in aiding their city. Other churches from Newfrontiers and around the country are working in conjunction with Christ’s Church of Joplin as well as others in the city of Joplin. As of today there has been a website created to raise funds as well as send out information in regards to the status of Joplin. That website is http://www.restorejoplin.com/ Here you can purchase tshirts to support the recovery or find out what is currently happening there. If you are on Facebook you can also Find a Restore Joplin Facebook Page by clicking the link here—go there and “like” their page.
Lastly if you are looking to get involved with work on the ground the Newfrontiers USA website has a page where you can actually volunteer to support the efforts first hand. You can find that page HERE.
Continue to keep Joplin and its many residents in your prayers and we will update you as things progress.
