Squires Mexico Update

Hello to everyone back in Missoula!

I dont have much time but wanted to give everyone and update on our travels down here in Mexico. Carla, Tristan, Cade, and I arrived in Guadalajara last Saturday afternoon and it has been a whirlwind adventure so far. We stayed with Lee, Stacey, and Matthew for 2 nights and they are doing great down here. Their home is just a ten minute walk from Fuente de Vida the church Oscar Suarez and his team lead. Lee spoke at the church that Sunday and it was great to spend time with many friends in the church. While we were at Fuente de Vida Matthew was over at El Camino playing on the worship team. He is doing great and says hello to everyone.

Sunday afternoon we went with Bruce and Denise Wayman out to La Serviana a village on the outskirts of town. In the village their main ability to make money is by making bricks. We have had teams from Missoula come out to the village and meet the people…..I wanted to let you know they remember our church and are grateful for our partnership. I absolutely loved the people out there and I think a small piece of Carla’s heart may have been left out there. As a small testimony about the village, Bruce and Denise have been working out in the village for over 2 years. When they first came there was a man in the village named Enrique who couldn’t read or write. The Sunday we were out there Enrique was preaching at the service for one of his first times, he did a great jobs and it was a powerful reminder of God working. They are also seeing great salvations and headings in La Serviana, it is great!

Now we have made our way to Fiesta, an annual celebration/gathering of the Mexico Newfrontiers churches. Again, many friends are here…Derek and Connie Sovereign from PACC, Oscar and Bebe Suarez, Jim Knaff, John and Flor Evans from Brazil, David Adonijae from Bolivia, as well as several people from the church in Arkansas and of course Terryand Wendy Virgo are here. So far it has been great and we are looking forward to a great weekend. We love and miss Missoula and will see everyone soon!
